We are seeking an experienced Temporary Chief Engineer to join a 10 year old, 57m Trinity built vessel. The vessel runs with a Chief and two rotational Second Engineers, with a total crew of 13. The vessel is striving to appoint a Temporary Chief Engineer willing to step in and take up the challenge of a busy yard period including class and flag surveys around early December and a potential charter during Christmas and New Year.

The Chief Engineer should have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role and hold a Y1/SV Chief Engineer 9000KW/3000GT CoC. The salary is to be discussed during the interview. Experience with Trinity Yachts is preferred but not essential. Candidates need to have good management skills, lead by example and have a hands-on approach on the engineering tasks/projects onboard. Knowledge in AV/IT is important.

Vessel runs with Triton’s planned maintenance software and Pinpoint Works for worklists. Knowledge on these programs is a plus.

All certificates are to be in date (including good validity) and they are to hold a valid B1/B2 US Visa. Start date to be 6th November and joining in West Palm Beach, local candidates are preferred but vessel will pay for travel.
