We are looking for a new chef to design and prepare great meals for our family orientated explore vessel and a crew of 6 in total. The right candidate will be a person who is creative with food, enjoys designing and preparing great menus and shares the philosophy of inspiring happiness through memorable experiences. This position works closely with the Chief stewardess to plan menus and themed evenings as well as provision the yacht for guest trips.

The chef will also need to display basic yachting skills such as working with the rest of the crew when docking and shore excursions. The Captain and crew enjoy working as a team and helping each other to ensure both high levels of service and a comfortable work environment.

The vessel is a family orientated yacht based in Fort Lauderdale for five to six months of the year with numerous trips to the Bahamas and Caribbean in winter months and then summers in New England, along with regular yard periods in between seasons. Yacht activities on board include lots of fishing, diving, shore excursions and themed evenings and games on board with crew and guest interactions throughout. The owners enjoy voyages to new destinations to fish, dive and enjoy the Oceans.

Position requirements:

1 + years in the yachting industry

B1/B2 in hand

Food & Hygiene level 2

All relevant STCW and medical certificates in date

Standard contract on offer with competitive benefits to ensure longevity of crew on board. Salary will depend on experience.
